The Enviro Heat Pump range all feature heat exchangers with roped titanium tubing as opposed to conventional straight tubing used by others. Technology that provides greater heat transfer and therefore higher efficiencies for you, the pool owner.
An Enviro Heat Pump can increase efficiency by up to 500% (see graphic on right). Initial capital outlay is higher, but cheaper maintenance costs provide an advantage over gas. The use of a quality thermal blanket can significantly increase efficiency and reduce running costs.

heating performance
The heating performance values (kW) described on this site are the values obtained by operating at an outdoor temperature of 20°C and water temperature of 27°C and RH65%.
Heating performance decreases as the outdoor temperature drops, therefore it may be necessary to use a pool blanket to aid the heating of the pool if the ambient temperature gets too low.

automatic defrosting device
If the temperature is low and the humidity is high, frost will form on the heat pump coils. If use is continued, the heating performance will drop. The Automatic Defrost Device will function to remove the frost. The unit will stop heating for a short period of time during this period. The unit will then start blowing hot air - this is a normal operation for reverse cycle heat pump units.
servicing the heat pump unit
We recommend regular service by a specialist maintenance contractor, visual inspections of the electrical components, refrigerant charge, motors, coils and heat exchanger.
refrigerant leakage
The refrigerant gas (R22) is non toxic in its original state. However measures must be taken against refrigerant leaks into small areas where tolerable levels may be exceeded. Installing ventilation devices may be required.
